Steno-Kath Reporting and its division Paul Becker Reporting, perform its services at depositions, hearings, arbitrations, meetings and trials. A regular turnaround time for a transcript is 10-business days, but an expedited delivery can be made as quickly as same night for an escalating expedited premium.
Location of Services: Although we are located in New York, we perform our services nationwide. In some instances we use our local reporters, and we also use affiliated agencies around the country to assist us. Regardless of the location of the deposition, the final transcripts are produced, delivered and invoiced from our New York offices, which allows us to monitor quality control and consistency in style. Starting with the Covid-19 pandemic, we started to specialize in virtual work, using mostly Zoom, but also Webex and other forms of virtual software. Format of Delivery: The delivery of our transcripts can be hard copy paper and/or compact discs, or can be made in soft copy distributed by email or through the Internet via our large file upload site. Format of Transcript: The transcripts (either hard of soft copies) can be made in full sized pages or in a condensed version (normally four to a page) and include a word index at the end allowing attorneys to see on which pages specific words appear. The soft copies are available in ASCII, PDF and Real Legal outputs. Exhibits: Exhibits can be tabbed and attached to transcripts and can also be scanned and attached to soft copy transmissions. We are able to link the transcripts to the exhibits via Real Legal's E-Transcript product, which allows attorneys to view the transcript and exhibits at the same time and to perform word searches on both the transcript and exhibit. Invoicing: We can invoice our clients via hard copies or through emails. We will accept payments via checks or with credit cards. Upon request, we will also accept payments via Paypal. |
